Job description

The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional's distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients. GCG is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. We take the time to understand clientsโ€™ evolving needs, identifying where we can add value and collaborating to provide a better investment experience. Our Retirement Distribution team is responsible for working with retirement recordkeepers, broker-dealers, third party administrators (TPAs), 529 and ABLE plan administrators and providers, and Health Savings Account (HSA) platforms across the country. Reporting to a Client Service Manager, the Associate will be an integral member of the Retirement Distribution team and will support business development and client retention activities for various national account prospects and clients. With proven success, Associates will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, prospects and intermediaries to develop and expand Dimensional's relationships in the Retirement market.

Responsibilities
  • Help maintain CRM database, ensuring data governance practices are in place and upheld
  • Establish proficiency with all internal databases and tools
  • Support the day-to-day activities of the teamโ€™s Regional Directors, and provide proactive support to teamโ€™s Regional Directors in all manner of retirement coverage
  • Prepare presentation materials to be used in meetings with prospects and clients. Examples of deliverables include introductory presentations, portfolio reviews and follow-up materials.
  • Prepare and develop educational and marketing presentations and other communications
  • Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material in preparation for meetings or in response to client inquiries
  • Facilitate the completion of due diligence requests, RFIs, and client questionnaires
  • Respond and manage client inquiries and provide solutions to ad-hoc investment or operational questions with senior staff oversight
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various internal and external sources and databases, particularly with respect to retirement recordkeeper asset reports and related data sources
  • Provide quality control on data to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Collaborate and communicate across internal groups โ€“ including operations, reporting, marketing, compliance, portfolio management, research, retirement advisor team, or other sales channels โ€“ to obtain or develop responses to inquiries or ad hoc projects, and efficiently communicate findings to senior staff and/or clients
  • Develop a deep understanding of Dimensionalโ€™s investment philosophy and process
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with peers at retirement recordkeeper, broker-dealer and TPA firms, providing ongoing client service and support through Dimensional updates, proactive communication, and content management
  • Develop a robust understanding of the retirement industry, recordkeeper and advisory trends and regulatory developments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required with a strong academic record
  • 2-4 years experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once while adhering to strict deadlines and producing high quality work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to ultimately work independently, to prioritize and exercise time management
  • Demonstrate initiative, accountability and focus on quality
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential, with ability to learn programs as needed
  • CRM experience preferred; ability to learn and become a subject matter expert on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM tool is essential
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required and must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
