Classification: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $20-23/hour

Location: Austin, TX

Work Type: In Office (78731), 20-29 hours per week

Reports To: Client Services Manager

Requirements:

As Print Services Associate, you will be using high volume digital production equipment to help team members effectively create and produce a wide variety of print and mail projects while adhering to financial budgets. This person will trouble-shoot and make sure all projects print accurately to various output devices.


Responsibilities:

  • Master the Machines – Operate and maintain printing equipment, including high-volume printers, binding, and cutting machines. Keep them running at their best to produce top-quality materials.
  • Bring Projects to Life – Print, cut, stack, fold, collate, staple, and foam mount—helping create professional, polished materials for our team.
  • Keep Things Moving – Ensure jobs are completed on time while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Manage Supplies Like a Pro – Monitor and restock printing materials, ensuring we never run out of essentials.
  • Mailroom Magic – Handle mail projects, from merging and printing documents to stuffing, sealing, and sending out envelopes. You’ll also check the PO box and manage inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Event Prep MVP – Pack, ship, and track course materials and classroom equipment so every event has what it needs to shine.
  • Be the Go-To Person – Help around the office as needed, supporting different departments and making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Office Hero – Keep our break area stocked with coffee and snacks, ensuring the team stays energized throughout the day.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma.
  • Self-disciplined to be able to work independently and to keep on task.
  • Previous experience in a print shop environment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of printing equipment and processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.?
  • Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting concepts preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Familiar with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • This position does not supervise any employees.

Work Environment:

  • This position is in-office in our climate-controlled office, with normal office noise. It may also be performed from a location of your choosing, in the city and state you were hired in.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands of this job include standing for extended periods while operating printing equipment and walking around the print shop area to fulfill job requests. Occasionally lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

Position Type & Expected Hours:

  • This is a part-time position, with variable working hours- Monday – Friday, from 8:00 AM CT to 5:00 PM CT.
