Producer Resource Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a Producer Resource Coordinator to join our Commercial Lines team.

Overview:

This position encompasses three main components: Administrative Sales Support functions; Education & Technical Learning and Ongoing Mentoring.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Sales Support

You will be partnered with a Producer(s) to handle many administrative tasks that support the sales process. In short, your main responsibility is to help increase the producer(s) efficiency and productivity so that they focus on selling.

Working alongside the Producer, you will quickly be asked to interact internally with a variety of different departments including Accounting, Marketing, Service and more. This will include different departments across HUB's national footprint. As part of the onboarding process, you will be trained on how the systems work and where to go for support throughout the process. Below are just a few task and responsibilities you will be asked to support:

  • Provide ongoing assistance to colleagues using various sales tools and resources in particular: Be a "proficient user" of MS Dynamics CRM (Customer Relationship Management) as customized for HUB (CORE) and HUB's revenue tracking system called EPIC for managing the Producer's pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage and monitor Producer dashboard
  • Manage and monitor revenue tracking from various sources of payment (across P&C, Benefits and Broker Dealer, as well as, between the HUB regions.)
  • Manage and monitor the HUB region to region handshake agreement.
  • Prepare monthly report where needed.
  • Perform ad hoc marketing tasks as it relates sales and marketing presentations such as RFP support and Presentation support.
  • After more training, you will be in a position to complete insurance forms, assist the Producer in obtaining client data, managing the invoicing process and tracking revenue until it's verified completion.
  • Where appropriate, assist with organization of and attend certain Producer meetings. As you become more proficient, you will be asked to take notes and participate and be responsible for client and prospect follow up under the supervision of the Producer.
  • Report back on a period basis to the CSO and Producer on your progress. Mutual discussion on any changes that may be needed to continue on your growth trajectory.
  • Research, recommend and implement special projects and/or initiatives such as prospect research. In addition to the web, tools include Linked In and Sutton Place, an online CRM of private equity deals.
  • Collaboration with HUB colleagues on all aspects of sales enablement.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally to achieve the goals of Producer and the organization.
  • Many other sales support functions will apply as they arise.
  • From time to time the position may require off hour work based on client and producer need. However, we will work to help maintain a work life balance when those situations arise.
Education & Technical Learning

At HUB, knowledge and education is an important aspect of any employee's development. Your educational path will encompass many formal and informal aspects aimed to help you succeed and grow within the company and/or industry.

Formally, you will be asked to participate in HUB sponsored training sessions. These weekly programs will ensure that you are learning technical aspects of commercial insurance. In addition to the HUB resources, you will be asked to participate in ad hoc external educational opportunities, usually sponsored by our partner carriers.

  • Within the first six (6) months, you must obtain your Property & Casualty License. You will be expected to attend training and exam preparatory classes.
  • You are encouraged to request additional work projects that will enhance your understanding of insurance. This may include ad hoc projects or attending 3rd party sponsored programming.
  • You are encouraged to reach out and spend time with HUB specialists, such as, but not limited to Management Liability, Cyber, Worker's Compensation and more.
  • You are strongly encouraged to attend, inquire and learn about Health & Benefits and Retirement Planning as it is important to understand the issues impacting these areas.

Lastly, in exchange for all your spirited efforts, you will become mentored by some of the most successful producers in New England. You will have the opportunity to listen, participate and ask questions from experienced professionals that love insurance and protecting their clients. You have the chance to understand exactly what the sales professional is thinking, why they were thinking a certain way and what they hoped to achieve on every sales call and sales moment.

  • How to stay resilient through the many up and downs of sales.
  • You will learn all the steps and hard work it takes to become your best version of a Producer.
  • The importance of acknowledging your team and understanding their importance.

You will be expected to ask questions and learn from every meeting. Initially, you will be asked to join the Producer on calls to listen, learn and ask questions afterward.
