Job description

If you thrive in a busy, people-first environment and you're looking for a role where no two days are the same, this might be exactly what you've been waiting for.

Financial Essentials is a faith-based financial advisory firm in Butler, PA that has been serving clients since 1991. We've grown to nearly 1,000 clients and $262 million in assets under management, and we're still growing. We need a Client Service Associate who can keep up, stay calm, and genuinely care about the people walking through our door.

This is not a quiet desk job. Our office is busy, our team is close-knit, and the work moves fast. If you love being at the center of it all and find real satisfaction in getting things done, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

You'll be the operational backbone of our client service team. Day to day, that means:

  • Processing client service requests from start to finish: account paperwork, RMDs, money movement, transfers, and follow-ups
  • Managing appointments and calendar coordination across the team
  • Communicating with clients and keeping them informed on the status of their requests
  • Protecting advisor time by managing incoming tasks and filtering interruptions
  • Participating in brief daily team check-ins to keep everyone aligned across the office
  • Working inside our CRM-based workflow system, which is built to train you as you go

As you settle in, there's real room to grow. Depending on your background and goals, this role can expand into full operations management or, if you're licensed, into a Service Advisor role working directly with clients on their financial plans.

How to Apply

Apply through this posting and include a resume. We'll be in touch quickly for candidates who look like a strong fit. The process includes a phone screen, a skills and personality assessment, and a shadow day so you can see exactly what you're walking into before you commit.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Financial services experience; you should already know the language (RMDs, ACATs, transfers, account paperwork) without needing it explained from scratch
  • Strong task management skills; you can handle a high volume of work and know how to prioritize when everything feels urgent
  • Patience and composure in a fast-paced, frequently interrupted environment
  • Tech comfort; you don't need experience with our specific systems, but you need to learn new tools quickly and without stress
  • In-person availability; this role is based in our Butler, PA office, Monday through Friday

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a broker-dealer, RIA, or independent advisory firm
  • Active securities licenses (Series 7 or 65), or willingness to obtain them
  • CRM experience (any platform)

A note on culture: We're a faith-based team. Meetings often open or close with prayer. Caring for our clients and each other is built into how we operate. You don't have to share our faith, but you do need to be comfortable in that environment.

Benefits

What You Get
  • Salary: $50,000-$62,000 to start, willing to go higher for the right candidate
  • 401(k) with 5% employer match
  • $350/month health insurance stipend
  • PTO and all federal holidays
  • Relocation assistance available for the right out-of-area candidate
  • A team that genuinely looks out for each other, events that are genuinely fun (think hot air balloons and murder mystery dinners), and the kind of work culture that's hard to leave
