Job Title: Sales Manager

Supervisor: Director of Sales  

Summary 

The Hotel Sales Manager leads the sales efforts to grow revenue through room bookings, group reservations, and event space sales. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Revenue Generation: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase hotel occupancy and event bookings. 

Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify new markets, build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners. 

Contract Negotiation: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts for group reservations, conferences, and special events. 

Team Collaboration: Work closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations to align sales strategies and ensure service delivery. 

Sales Reporting: Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and report on sales activities to hotel leadership. 

Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to refine sales tactics.
