Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a privately held commercial landscaping company seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee and grow a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance clients while driving service quality, retention, and revenue growth.

This role serves as the primary client contact for assigned accounts while working closely with operations teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager owns the client relationship for a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts while ensuring services are executed effectively and opportunities for account growth are identified.

This role sits at the intersection of client relationship management, operations coordination, and enhancement sales, ensuring properties meet client expectations while expanding revenue through additional services.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned maintenance accounts.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and client walkthroughs.
  • Address issues quickly to maintain client satisfaction and contract retention.

Operational Coordination

  • Work closely with production teams to ensure services meet contract specifications.
  • Monitor service quality across properties and support operational efficiency.
  • Ensure safety standards, company policies, and equipment usage requirements are followed.
  • Support production teams in maintaining service delivery within budgeted labor hours.

Enhancement Sales & Portfolio Growth

  • Identify enhancement opportunities within existing client portfolios.
  • Develop proposals for landscape improvements and additional services.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure enhancements are executed successfully.
  • Support portfolio growth through client retention and service expansion.

Financial & Portfolio Management

  • Manage a commercial landscape portfolio starting around $700K with growth toward $1M+.
  • Monitor job costs and service performance to support branch profitability.
  • Maintain client renewal and retention rates of 90% or higher.
  • Contribute to overall branch revenue through enhancement sales and strong account management.

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in commercial landscape account management or maintenance operations.
  • Proven experience managing commercial landscape portfolios valued between $750K and $2M.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of landscape maintenance operations and horticulture practices.
  • Experience identifying and selling landscape enhancements or property improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties while maintaining service quality.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel within the territory.
