How does a client retention manager collaborate with sales and customer support teams to improve client satisfaction?

A Client Retention Manager works closely with both sales and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience. They regularly communicate with sales to understand client expectations and feedback, and with customer support to address ongoing issues and identify trends in client concerns. By facilitating open communication between these departments, they help develop targeted retention strategies, resolve client problems efficiently, and proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. This collaborative approach is essential for building strong, long-term client relationships.

To thrive as a Client Retention Manager, you need expertise in customer relationship management, strategic account management, and a background in business or marketing.
