Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of the Client Accounting & Advisory Services team, providing accounting, financial reporting, and advisory support to clients across the professional services sector, including real estate, healthcare, legal, and renewable energy organizations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery to clients.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Act as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships through proactive communication and exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate closely with U.S.-based and offshore team members to coordinate workflows, manage priorities, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review work prepared by associates and offshore accounting professionals, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and technical guidance.
  • Support client onboarding, accounting clean-up projects, process improvements, and implementation of best practices.
  • Utilize and optimize accounting technology platforms including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Ramp, payroll systems, and other cloud-based applications.
  • Assist clients with financial analysis, KPI reporting, budgeting support, cash flow monitoring, and business performance insights.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance the client experience through technology and automation.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, tax engagements, and other client reporting requirements.
  • Maintain organized workpapers and ensure compliance with firm standards, accounting principles, and internal quality expectations.
  • Participate in team training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience within public accounting, client accounting services, outsourced accounting, or a combination of public and industry experience.
  • Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing financial statements for multiple clients or entities.
  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Xero required.
  • Experience with Bill.com, Ramp, and payroll systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to work directly with clients.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams and leveraging distributed resources is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative culture.
  • Ability to identify issues, think critically, and develop practical solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, process improvement, and technology adoption.

$73,000 - $117,500 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.ย
