Job description

Key Responsibilities

Program & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the program owner and SPOC for the client across the entire engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and senior client stakeholders.
  • Own program governance, delivery reporting, and escalation management.
  • Ensure continuous alignment between client priorities and offshore execution teams.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly steering committee meetings, preparing executive-level metrics, dashboards, and status reports.

Scrum Master Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to agile processes across multiple pods and teams.
  • Track sprint velocity, backlog health, and delivery commitments.
  • Proactively identify, track, and remove impediments in collaboration with client stakeholders and offshore leads.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset through retrospectives, feedback loops, and process optimization.

Team Orchestration & Coordination

  • Work closely with internal Technical Architects and Team Leads to ensure uninterrupted progress.
  • Enable cross-pod collaboration and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Partner with Data Engineering Leads and team members to ensure sprint and milestone commitments are met.
  • Align teams on best practices for coding standards, documentation, testing, and release management.

Delivery Oversight & Risk Management

  • Track progress across all workstreams at an overall program level.
  • Maintain a master delivery tracker covering epics, sprints, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate proactively when required.
  • Monitor and report delivery health metrics including velocity, burndown, quality, and predictability.

Onsite Presence & Client Value

  • Serve as the voice of the offshore team onsite and the voice of the client offshore.
  • Provide real-time context, clarity, and feedback to reduce turnaround time and rework.
  • Accelerate decision-making by facilitating timely issue resolution.
  • Represent delivery excellence and ensure high levels of client satisfaction, trust, and engagement continuity.

Support Data Science Expansion & New Opportunities

  • Stay closely aligned with evolving business requirements and Data & AI initiatives.
  • Identify and surface expansion opportunities, change requests, and adjacent use cases.
  • Share client insights and feedback with Delivery and Sales leadership to strengthen long-term engagement strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager and/or Scrum Master in complex delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery metrics.
  • Experience managing onsiteโ€“offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Background in Data Engineering, Analytics, or AI programs preferred.
