Client Service Associate

Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Hightower's capital solutions, operational support services, size and scale empower its vibrant community of independent-minded wealth advisors to grow their businesses and help their clients achieve their financial vision. Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

We are looking for a Client Service Associate to help bring our mission to life. The Client Service Associate controls our client experience. You will report to the Head of Office.

The Role:
  • Controls our client experience
  • Oversight of client onboarding process from start to finish including preparation of documentation establishing accounts; funding and getting client invested
  • Proactive outreach to clients to share team services, including their digital experience
  • Use CRM platform to document milestones in clients' lives
  • Participate in projects and internal working groups to ensure the client's needs are represented in projects
  • Ensure both clients and the team are protected by observing practice's compliance policies
  • Support Advisors with operational tasks
What You'll Bring:
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and address them
  • Ability to manage changing priorities in a day, and set expectations with others
  • Strong interpersonal skills: relationship builder; curiosity about people and their behaviors

  • Work experience in Financial Services desired, but not required
