Job description

Service an Established Client Base. Build Your Own Future.

Centurion Wealth Management is a growing financial planning and wealth management practice dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve financial confidence through personalized advice and exceptional service. We are seeking a motivated, client-focused Associate Financial Advisor to join our team and play a key role in supporting our growing client base. This is an exceptional opportunity for an advisor with approximately 3+ years of experience who is looking to deepen client relationships, expand their planning expertise, and build a successful long-term career within an established practice. Unlike many advisor opportunities that require you to start from scratch, this position includes responsibility for servicing approximately 50 existing client households while providing the opportunity to grow and develop your own book of business over time. The position may be structured as either a W-2 employee or 1099 independent contractor, depending on the candidate's goals and preferences.

Position Summary

The Associate Financial Advisor works closely with the Lead Advisor to deliver an exceptional client experience and provide ongoing financial planning, investment, and relationship management support.

This individual will serve as the primary contact for assigned client relationships, participate in client meetings, coordinate planning recommendations, and ensure timely execution of client service needs. The Advisor will have the opportunity to develop trusted client relationships, gain experience working with more complex planning situations, and grow their own client base within a supportive and well-established practice.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary advisor for approximately 50 existing client households.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Conduct client review meetings and address routine planning and investment-related questions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and improve overall client outcomes.
  • Ensure all client requests and service needs are completed accurately and efficiently.

Financial Planning & Investment Support

  • Gather and analyze client financial information.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans.
  • Participate in strategy discussions and client recommendation development.
  • Support investment implementation and account management activities.
  • Facilitate account openings, transfers, rollovers, and ongoing account maintenance.
  • Execute trades and account servicing activities consistent with firm policies and licensing requirements.

Client Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up

  • Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and planning materials.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings.
  • Document meeting notes and follow-up action items.
  • Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations and ensure timely completion of client commitments.

Practice Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and nurture referral opportunities.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and client events.
  • Build and grow a personal book of business over time.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Advisor to identify opportunities for practice expansion and client engagement.

Team Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner with the operations team to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Support compliance requirements and maintain accurate client records.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and firm standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on delivering an outstanding client experience.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, financial advising, or a related field.
  • Active Life, Health, and Variable Insurance licenses.
  • Active Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or equivalent combination).
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting client meetings and managing ongoing client relationships.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a desire to develop as an advisor and business builder.
