Job description

Build a Career. Make a Difference. Help Families Thrive.

Lifetime Advisors Group
North Kingstown, Rhode Island

"We're not looking to fill a position—we're looking to invest in a person."

For nearly 40 years, Lifetime Advisors Group has helped individuals and families prepare for retirement, reduce taxes, preserve their wealth, and leave a meaningful legacy. Our clients trust us during some of the most important financial decisions of their lives, and we take that responsibility seriously.

As our firm continues to grow, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to integrity, service, and lifelong learning—someone who wants more than a paycheck and is looking for a place to build a rewarding career.

If you are dependable, naturally organized, enjoy helping people, and take pride in doing things the right way, we would love to meet you.

About Lifetime Advisors Group

We are an independent wealth management and financial planning firm dedicated to helping our clients make informed financial decisions with confidence.

Our planning philosophy goes beyond investments. We help clients with:

  • Retirement Planning
  • Investment Management
  • Tax Planning
  • Estate & Legacy Planning
  • Medicare & Social Security Planning
  • Wealth Preservation

We believe every client deserves to feel heard, respected, educated, and cared for.

Our clients become part of our extended family—and so does our team.

The Opportunity

This is not simply an administrative position.

This is an opportunity to become an essential part of a growing financial planning firm where your work truly matters.

You will work directly alongside our advisors, helping coordinate every aspect of the client experience—from the first phone call through retirement and beyond.

As you learn and grow, so will your responsibilities.

Our goal is to invest in someone who wants to grow with us for many years.

What You'll Do

Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:

Client Experience

  • Welcome clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Answer phones and respond to client requests
  • Follow up to ensure every client receives exceptional service

Wealth Operations

  • Prepare investment account paperwork
  • Process transfers and money movement
  • Coordinate beneficiary updates
  • Track applications and follow up on outstanding items
  • Monitor workflows through Redtail CRM
  • Maintain organized client records

Financial Planning Support

  • Prepare meeting materials
  • Assist with planning projects
  • Coordinate review meetings
  • Help implement client recommendations
  • Support retirement income planning and investment operations

Team Support

  • Help improve office procedures
  • Assist with educational workshops and seminars
  • Coordinate special projects
  • Look for ways to improve efficiency and the client experience

Who Will Thrive Here?

The right person isn't necessarily someone with years of financial services experience.

The right person is someone who:

✔ Loves helping people

✔ Is highly organized

✔ Pays attention to the little details

✔ Takes initiative without waiting to be asked

✔ Enjoys solving problems

✔ Learns quickly

✔ Is dependable and accountable

✔ Communicates professionally

✔ Maintains confidentiality

✔ Wants to continue learning every year

✔ Is looking for a career—not simply their next job

Experience

Financial industry experience is welcome—but it is not required.

We believe character, attitude, and a willingness to learn are far more important than having every technical skill on day one.

Candidates with experience in:

  • Banking
  • Legal
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Insurance
  • Accounting
  • Executive Administration
  • Customer Service
  • Office Management
  • Education

often transition very successfully into our profession.

We will teach the financial planning business.

Technology

You should feel comfortable learning and using technology, including:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Outlook
  • Word
  • Excel
  • CRM software
  • Electronic document management

Experience with Redtail, Schwab Advisor Center, Fidelity Wealthscape, or similar platforms is a plus but not required.

Why Join Lifetime Advisors Group?

We believe people do their best work when they feel valued.

When you join our team, you'll receive:

  • Direct mentorship from an experienced Wealth Advocate with nearly 40 years of experience.
  • Hands-on exposure to every aspect of financial planning.
  • Opportunities to continue learning and growing professionally.
  • The chance to build meaningful relationships with clients.
  • A supportive, team-oriented environment where your ideas matter.
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of a growing firm.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • SIMPLE IRA with company match
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid Time Off
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Monday-Thursday work schedule (8:00 AM-6:00 PM)
  • Long-term career growth

Our Core Values

Everything we do is guided by five principles:

Integrity – Always do what is right.

Compassion – Treat every client like family.

Excellence – Details matter.

Growth – Never stop learning.

Teamwork – We succeed together.

If these values describe who you are, we believe you'll thrive here.

Before You Apply...

A resume tells us where you've been.

We're equally interested in learning who you are.

Please include a brief letter telling us:

  • Why this opportunity interests you.
  • What excites you about working with clients.
  • Why you believe Lifetime Advisors Group would be a good fit for you.
  • What type of career you're hoping to build over the next five to ten years.

We read every application carefully because we believe hiring the right person is one of the most important investments we can make.

A Personal Note from Gayle

Over the past four decades, I've learned that technical skills can be taught, but integrity, kindness, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help others are qualities that come from within. Our clients trust us during some of the most important moments of their lives, and that trust is something we never take for granted.

If you're looking for a place where you'll be mentored, challenged, appreciated, and given the opportunity to build a meaningful career while making a positive difference in the lives of others, I encourage you to apply. We would love the opportunity to get to know you.
