Job Description:
At Regions, the Investment Services Relationship Team Administrator(RTA) leads the area's Wealth Relationship Specialists, Trust Relationship Specialists, or Sales Assistants to ensure quality service to internal partners and clients. This role has direct management responsibility for support staff and may also directly support members of the advisor team.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and training to Wealth Relationship Specialists, Trust Relationship Specialists, or Sales Assistants, serving as the dedicated subject matter expert on policies and procedures for business group systems and transactions
  • Understands client needs and identifies opportunities to improve and resolve client service issues
  • Coaches associates to identify expansion opportunities within existing relationships and/or identify knowledge gaps
  • Disseminates pertinent information to support team, ensuring consistency
  • Assists the team with resolving complex client issues
  • Completes and processes administrative documents for the department
  • Monitors departmental compliance training
  • Monitors risk and compliance on various client transaction activity
  • Supports the business, as needed, with other administrative duties such as the onboarding of new associates, training, complex reporting, and other duties as assigned
  • Travels, as needed, to support the assigned area market
  • May perform general management duties, in partnership with business leadership and Human Resources, exercising usual authority concerning staffing, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years of experience in a related field

  • College degree or technical school certification

This role will lead a team of Sales Assistants within our Investment Services Group. Occasional travel will be required. Onsite expectations will be out of our office in Hoover, AL.
Highly Preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED with five (5) years of bank brokerage experience
  • Or Bachelor's degree in a related field with one (1) year of bank brokerage experience
  • Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 (1 year to achieve)
  • Life Insurance License (1 year to achieve)

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
