Travel Requirement
Occasional travel is required, including attendance at BELAY's annual company Summit and other business meetings as needed.
Job purpose
The Client Success Consultant (CSC) drives strong client relationships and sustained growth by managing and expanding accounting service engagements across BELAY. This role proactively identifies client needs, uncovers opportunities within existing partnerships, and ensures a seamless experience for both clients and contractors. By applying financial expertise and account management skills, the CSC strengthens client satisfaction, extends engagement longevity, and contributes to revenue growth.
Essential Functions
As a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision, and core values while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Client & Contractor Experience
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration experience by strategically pairing contractors with clients
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and contractors, providing ongoing support past onboarding to cultivate strong, productive partnerships, including strategic guidance on accounting and bookkeeping best practices
  • Oversee a roster of clients with a focus on retention, account growth, and maximizing engagement duration while proactively identifying areas to expand services, leveraging your financial expertise and a growth-oriented mindset
  • Collaborate on contract updates, renewals, and terminations as needed to support evolving client needs
  • Address and resolve client or contractor concerns, escalating matters when necessary to ensure timely solutions
  • Deliver timely, professional communication and provide constructive feedback to contractors to ensure consistent, high-quality service

Operational Responsibilities
  • Utilize tools such as GSuite, CRM systems, and other platforms to streamline workflows and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, drive process enhancements, and elevate the overall client experience
  • Stay proactive and innovative by leveraging technology to boost efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of client relationship management or account management experience

Skills & Competencies
  • Working knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships, communicate effectively, and manage engagements in a virtual environment
  • Proficiency with technology tools (GSuite, CRM platforms, and collaboration systems) and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for consultative selling and identifying growth opportunities.

Working Conditions
BELAY is a remote-first organization. This role requires a dedicated home office, regular use of virtual collaboration tools, and a work schedule that aligns with business needs and BELAY's core collaboration hours. Occasional travel or flexibility outside standard business hours may be required based on the role.
