RESPONSIBILITIES

The High Net Worth Investor Relations team seeks a full-time Analyst/Associate.

The Analyst/Associate will work alongside IR Coverage Officers and is tasked with gathering information, conducting in-depth analysis, and creating materials to make each prospect meeting a success. In addition, the Analyst/Associate must research/collect information necessary to create and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, including maintaining the latest industry information and providing extensive analysis on current prospects.

The Analyst/Associate will work closely with the Coverage Officers to provide qualified calling lists and enable us to grow our business. The Associate is expected to develop in-depth knowledge of each CO's territory and take ownership for coordinating the production of all materials and follow up requests.

A successful Analyst/Associate is a results-oriented individual who is able to work independently, under time constraints, and consistently produce accurate and timely deliverables. The individual should have a solid understanding and curiosity of investment products.

Commanding a thorough knowledge of our business, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, the successful Associate will work closely with other members of the team on prospect and marketing activities. He/she will conduct market analysis, initiate research, respond to inquiries on a wide variety of topics, and as opportunity arises participate in prospect and client meetings.

This position will involve key tasks such as:

  • Act as a HNW Project Manager for distinct funds and support the team in fundraising initiatives and relationship management activities
  • Sales prospect pipeline development (by region, type) and CRM pipeline maintenance/reporting. Build model to support strategic outreach.
  • Responsibility for launch prep and identification of eligible investors for fund launch
  • Oversee broad data management tasks for Coverage Officers in Salesforce.com to support business development and investor related activities
  • Oversee fundraising records and data integrity, coordinate follow-up process and correspondence with LPs or prospects
  • Provide project management support for HNW platform by assisting with requests for internal stakeholders and manage research projects to uncover new pools of capital, etc.
  • Provide diligence support by assisting with internal and external meetings and participate in diligence meetings on behalf of coverage officers
  • Assist IR team members with ad hoc reporting utilizing Salesforce.com client data
  • Assist with materials preparation including investor agendas and LP background profiles


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly-regarded institution)
  • 1-2 years of experience in asset management, consulting or financial services' related marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior personnel across the firm
  • Strong analytical skills; comfort organizing and interpreting large amounts of data
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to take on any task, no matter how small
  • Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience manipulating large data sets with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and energetic self-starter with ability to think creatively
  • Series 7 and 63; if not currently licensed, successful hire must complete tests in the first 90 days of employment

Compensation:

Expected Annual Base Salary $75,000 - $100,000

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
