Location: Hill Air Force Base, UT

About the Role:
The Project Manager's responsibilities include coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. The PM oversees all aspects of projects, establishes deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors the progress of the project. The PM collaborates directly with our client to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
What you'll do:
  • Coordinate project team personnel and resources.
  • Enhance and maintain relationships with clients, engineering personnel, and consultants.
  • Compile reports regarding financial performance of the project.
  • Oversee cost control and change management systems.
  • Attend and lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and pre-award.
  • In coordination with Project Superintendent, develop and maintain site logistics plans.
  • Prepare trade contracts and bid packages with assistance from Estimating Team.
  • Will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of the project are compatible with CLP goals and client needs.
  • Oversee procurement process with Purchasing Department.
  • Track and balance resources across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Set-up QA/QC procedures and conduct quality inspections.
  • Work closely with Safety Director to communicate and enforce corporate Safety Program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of project management experience required (construction or utility experience preferred).
    • Previous experience with CLP may be substituted for project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Understand blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services.
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to prepare construction schedules.
  • Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required with the ability to delegate work appropriately.
  • As a Team Player, able to work well with various partners from start to finish.
  • Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time exempt position. Office hours of work are Monday through Friday.
  • The ability and availability to travel, attend meetings and functions outside typical business hours may be required.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
  • You must be a US Citizen.
  • You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
  • A valid driver's license is required with a record that meets CLP Fleet Policy.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • CLP offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid time off, and holidays.
  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000/year depending on experience plus eligibility to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
    • We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex.
