We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects from planning, design,  through construction while ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction goals are achieved.


The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of multiple small, mid-sized, and large projects. This role serves as the primary client contact and oversees project planning, team coordination, technical execution, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and project management skills while maintaining a high level of technical expertise.


Key Responsibilities


Project Management

  • Manage multiple design and construction projects simultaneously from inception through completion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish project scope, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address project challenges and risks.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead project meetings, presentations, and communications.
  • Ensure client expectations are understood and met.

Team Leadership

  • Coordinate and lead project teams.
  • Delegate responsibilities and provide guidance to project staff.
  • Foster collaboration among consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Support staff development and mentorship.

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee production of construction documents, specifications, and permit submissions.
  • Review drawings, detailing, specifications, and code compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate quality control throughout design and documentation phases.
  • Direct construction administration activities including: 
    • Review of submittals
    • Review of shop drawings
    • Responses to Requests for Information (RFIs)
    • Coordination with contractors and consultants

Business Development

  • Assist with proposal preparation and interview presentations.
  • Estimate fees, determine project scope, and prepare contracts.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat and new business.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional architectural or engineering experience.
  • Experience managing multiple small, mid-sized to large projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, construction methods, and building codes.
  • Experience preparing project proposals, fee estimates, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit and/or AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation and specifications.
  • Comprehensive successful experience with construction administration processes.
  • High level English verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Architectural / Engineering licensure preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with a variety of project types may it public-sector, municipal (solid waste treatment facilities, transfer stations), and institutional projects.
  • Have managed On-Call contracts, IDIQs (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity), or MATOCs (Multiple Award Task Order Contracts).
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certification programs.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams.
