Title: Project Manager (SAP – Finance Space)

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Maplewood, MN 55144

Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite and 1 day Remote

Job Description:

  • Create or Update and manage high-level project plan and manage the schedule, dependencies, risks, and milestones with Client.
  • Coordinate project activities within cross-functional Team, in accordance with project plan, schedule and milestones.
  • Leveraging existing Client tools and reports (Atlassian Jira, Tricentis qTest, Microsoft applications) for project activities and deliverables, creating reports when not present in collaboration with Client project resources.
  • Define along with the project leadership, and facilitate the meeting and ways of working cadence, including: Project Weekly Team meeting, IT Leadership meeting, SteerCo meeting.
  • Communicate risks, working with project resources to create prevention/mitigation plans where appropriate.
  • Escalate risks and issues for which the project resources are unable to address.
  • Provide a PowerPoint status report that will be used for the weekly project status and monthly steering committee meetings to communicate key topics for:
  • Awareness and escalation of status, risks, blockers, dependencies, scope, decisions, and opportunities.
  • Work with Client partners as needed, in the scope of work and context of the project.
  • Manage project documentation and deliverables per Client IT project methodology, ensuring proper traceability for SDLC compliance.

Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience leading complex programs with multiple projects underneath.
  • Ability to coordinate project activities through influential leadership to project workstream leaders, Client internal and partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, tailored to different levels of organization (scrum Teams, product owners, project leadership, IT senior leadership, Client Business & Operations stakeholders).
  • Large FinTech transformation program experience.
  • Ability to synthetize projects progress, and escalate risks when necessary.
  • Flexible to navigate multiple time zones on a weekly basis.
  • Experience working with global teams and team members in different time zones
  • Waterfall and Agile methodology knowledge.
  • Applications knowledge, such as but not limited to Atlassian Jira, Tricentis qTest, Microsoft applications.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Additional education plus:  Master’s degree such as MBA, MS in Finance, MS in Information Systems, or related field.
