PROJECT MANAGER

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A successful candidate is eager to learn, self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Working with a wide variety of individuals and personalities, being able to adapt to different communication styles is key. Utilize your conflict resolution skills by handling order escalations as necessary.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Project Management:
  • Develop an understanding of relevant client solutions, products, technologies, and common challenges, in order to oversee jobs and serve as an escalation point.
  • Generate quotes and scopes of work for clients on individual jobs and multi-site projects/rollouts, anticipating risks and project gray areas, and resolving through clarification or assumptions.
  • Quickly and fluently build orders in service management system, with minimal errors, recognizing opportunities to improve data. Consistently update system with clear, effective notes.
  • Schedule and coordinate jobs with technicians, effectively addressing scope and price. Gather all necessary logistical and technical information, and prepare technicians for on-site work.
  • Monitor job progress, serving as an escalation point and resolving most barriers. Confirm, review, and approve deliverables. Inform manager on larger escalations.
  • Close completed jobs, including billing and documentation, and share necessary information back to the client.
Rollouts:
  • Prepare and organize project data, statuses, dashboards, and reporting for multi-site projects/rollouts.
  • Manage large or complex multi-site projects/rollouts and provide status reporting.
Business Acumen:
  • Strategically determine best path to project success, considering timing, technician skill set, project risks, and margin.
  • Anticipate potential problems and develop a course of action to mitigate, informing manager
  • Manage and prioritize workload and daily schedule.
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to adapt to varying client, project, technology, technician, and site needs, and drive projects to a successful outcome.
  • Work with technicians and clients to negotiate pricing based on scope, level of effort, timeliness, and other variables.
  • Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Relationship Management:
  • Develop strong relationships with technicians, clients, and co-workers that promote effectiveness and mutual success, and foster additional flexibility and creativeness in resolving challenging situations. Advocate and influence for best outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary contact and SME for several client relationships. Recognize opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, coordinate with Manager, and implement proposed solutions in conjunction with Snap's partners/clients. Prepare and participate in relationship reviews.
Team:
  • Consistently demonstrate Snap's core values: integrity, passion, perseverance, accountability, and innovation.
  • Constantly demonstrate informal leadership. Serve as an escalation point and subject matter expert for other team members. Serve as the team lead in absence of the team manager.
  • Support new peers through advanced and strategic job training.
  • Occasional local and national travel, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.
WHAT YOU NEED

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Occasional night and weekend work
Experience:
  • 3+ years of applicable experience
Skills:
  • Understand the fundamentals of coordinating resources and timeline applications.
  • Adaptable and open-minded; coping effectively with complexity and changing priorities.
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented and analytical with the ability to work autonomously in a high-volume work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking with the ability to identify problems and formulate decisions independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Computer proficiency in the use of email and Microsoft Office. G-Suite and Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Must possess strong calculative skills to determine job costing, discounting and calculating profit margins.
  • Ability to obtain detailed knowledge of services and technical applications.
  • Decision-making and leadership capabilities.
