About the role:
The Client Success team follows a Client for Life Philosophy, and individuals in this role ensure that every Gartner client receives value far exceeding their investment. Associates seek to understand and surface client's business priorities, breakdown challenges, and identify the most effective ways to support the client in making the right decisions for their business. They are responsible for articulating Gartner value to prospective clients, onboarding clients, proving the concept of Gartner services, and stimulating client engagement of products.
New Client Engagement (NCE), a part of our Client Success Organization, is a fast-paced, dynamic business unit focused on providing the highest level of service to prospects and clients. NCE is made up of two functions: Client Onboarding and Insights Platform Walkthrough for prospects.
The Client Onboarding role focuses on providing a customized experience for new and upgraded clients. The Insights Platform Walkthrough team provides pre-sale demonstrations of Gartner resources, including our gartner.com platform, to prospects as a part of the sales process.
The NCE team utilizes Gartner assets, coupled with our gartner.com platform, to provide a valuable client experience that starts with a prospect demonstration by an NCE Insights Platform Walkthrough specialist, moves to an extensive client onboarding experience by an NCE Client Onboarding Specialist and transitions seamlessly to a service delivery associate for ongoing support.
You'll apply strategic thinking and relationship building to help executives solve their most pressing business challenges. You will understand their critical initiatives, align Gartner research and expertise, and help contribute to Gartner's growth.
What you will do:
• Lead prospect and/or client calls to understand client priorities and challenges and articulate the value of Gartner's renowned products and services. Understand and communicate Gartner services and capabilities to prospective clients and demonstrate value to decision makers.
• Collaborate with our Sales teams on how to effectively demonstrate Gartner products and resources to prospects or clients to increase likelihood of engaging and purchasing a license. Communicate with internal Gartner partners to overcome obstacles and maximize the value Gartner delivers to prospects and clients.
• Research prospective and existing companies, C-Level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to prepare relevant and tailored Gartner resources to drive impact.
What you will need:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 6+ months relevant professional and/or internship experience with a proven track record of success fueled by a passion for driving client success.
• Ability to demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, and influencing skills; ability to be agile and flexible

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 77,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
