What does a client integration manager do?

A Client Integration Manager is responsible for overseeing the seamless onboarding and integration of new clients into a company’s systems, processes, or services. They act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met. Their duties often include project management, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with various departments, and providing ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and successful integration.

What are some common challenges a client integration manager faces during the onboarding process?

Client Integration Managers often navigate complex technical requirements and diverse client expectations during onboarding. A key challenge is ensuring seamless communication between internal teams (like development and support) and the client's stakeholders to address integration needs and troubleshoot issues efficiently. They must also coordinate project timelines and manage multiple integrations simultaneously, balancing customization requests with standardized best practices. Building strong client relationships and proactively addressing potential roadblocks are essential to a successful integration process.

In this client-facing role, you will connect critical business platforms, solve complex technical challenges, and optimize enterprise content supply chains to support personalization, data-driven decision-making, and measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement enterprise integrations and automations using Adobe Workfront Fusion, connecting Workfront with platforms such as Workfront Proof, Workfront Planning, AEM Sites and Assets, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, JIRA, and other SaaS solutions.
  • Develop scalable system architectures that enable seamless data flow, process automation, streamlined content workflows, and improved collaboration.
  • Configure Workfront Fusion solutions that automate project and task workflows; connect campaign briefs, personas, timelines, and product messaging; support AEM content delivery and asset management; and improve end-to-end content supply chain efficiency.
  • Partner with clients to assess business needs and technical challenges, translate requirements into integration architectures, and provide strategic guidance aligned with their goals.
  • Advise clients on integration strategies that optimize content supply chains and support broader digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute integration testing plans to validate data integrity, functionality, and readiness for deployment.
  • Integrate Workfront with AEM, generative AI tools, and other platforms to improve content creation and PLM and ALM workflows.
  • Collaborate with technical, creative, and customer success teams to deliver effective solutions and incorporate client feedback into continuous improvements.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of experience in technical development, architecture, or technical leadership, including designing complex, cross-platform workflow and automation solutions in content supply chain or similar enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience building enterprise integrations and automations using Adobe Workfront Fusion or a comparable iPaaS platform, such as Make, Workato or MuleSoft.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Workfront, AEM, Salesforce, Workday, Jira, Bynder, Optimizely, or Sitecore with third-party SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of Workfront architecture and capabilities-including Workfront Proof, Workfront Planning, workflow automation, and AEM integrations-is preferred but not required.
  • Deep understanding of iPaaS and SaaS integration patterns and technologies, including REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and common data and file formats.
  • Proven consulting and communication skills, including requirements gathering, strategic workshop facilitation, stakeholder presentations, training, technical documentation, and solution recommendations.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform; AWS is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Adobe Workfront Fusion certification is preferred. Candidates who are not currently certified will be considered with the expectation that they obtain certification after joining Credera.
