The Opportunity

Access Labs is seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to lead the day-to-day execution, accountability, and performance of the Business Growth Strategist team.

This role is responsible for translating sales strategy into consistent team execution. The Sales Manager will oversee pipeline management, Salesforce discipline, rep coaching, follow-up activity, new business execution, and adherence to defined sales processes.

This is a true sales leadership role for someone who enjoys managing people, coaching active opportunities, driving accountability, and building a more structured, scalable sales organization.

The Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director and serve as the primary day-to-day leader for the Business Growth Strategists.

Build a High-Performing Sales Team

This role will play a key part in developing the structure, discipline, and accountability needed to support Access Labs? continued sales growth.

The Sales Manager will help improve rep performance, pipeline visibility, Salesforce accuracy, new business execution, and team consistency. As Access Labs expands its sales team and future field-based model, this role will be central to creating the management foundation needed to scale.

What You Will Own

  • Directly manage the Business Growth Strategist team and serve as their primary day-to-day leader.
  • Lead regular one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, call reviews, and performance discussions.
  • Coach representatives on sales strategy, prospect communication, objection handling, follow-up, and closing.
  • Join sales calls regularly to support opportunities, provide feedback, and help advance deals.
  • Manage day-to-day pipeline activity, opportunity progression, and rep accountability toward new business goals.
  • Ensure Salesforce is used consistently, accurately, and daily as the sales team?s source of truth.
  • Monitor rep activity, account notes, follow-up tasks, opportunity stages, close dates, and pipeline quality.
  • Provide KPI reporting to the Sales Director on team pipeline, activity, production, and performance trends.
  • Support new hire onboarding, training, ramp-up, and ongoing rep development in partnership with the Sales Performance Manager.
  • Reinforce sales workflows related to lead handoff, pricing requests, custom panel requests, onboarding, supply requests, and client launch steps.
  • Review and approve routine pricing, onboarding, and workflow requests within defined guardrails.
  • Escalate larger pricing decisions, margin-sensitive requests, performance concerns, client issues, or process gaps to the Sales Director.
  • Support sales team execution of marketing campaigns, new service launches, targeted outreach, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Help identify existing client expansion opportunities and escalate retention concerns when sales involvement is needed.
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Operations, Billing, Marketing, and other internal teams to support sales execution and client experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong people manager who can coach reps, inspect pipeline, enforce Salesforce discipline, support active deals, and create a performance-driven sales environment without losing the culture, energy, and collaboration of the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3?5+ years of sales leadership or sales management experience.
  • Proven experience managing, coaching, and holding sales representatives accountable to performance expectations.
  • Strong background in pipeline management, sales coaching, follow-up discipline, and deal support.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, including pipeline management, opportunity tracking, activity reporting, account notes, dashboards, and CRM hygiene.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to enforce process discipline while maintaining a sales-first leadership style.
  • Comfortable joining sales calls, coaching representatives, managing performance, and supporting deal strategy.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, medical, functional medicine, or healthcare-related sales experience preferred.
