Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Experience Coordinator

Location: Tualatin, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM

Be the First Impression of Closet Factory Portland

At Closet Factory Portland, every great project begins with an exceptional customer experienceโ€”and that starts with you.

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented professional to become the face and voice of our company. As our Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Experience Coordinator, you'll be the first person customers interact with, whether they call, visit our showroom, or need assistance during their project.

If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping things organized, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are a locally owned and operated manufacturer of custom closets, garages, pantries, home offices, wall beds, entertainment centers, laundry rooms, and other custom storage solutions. Every project is designed, manufactured, and installed by our local team, and we take pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience from the first phone call through final installation.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly alike, and that's what makes this position rewarding. You'll play a central role in keeping our office running smoothly while providing exceptional service to both customers and teammates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Responding promptly to emails and customer inquiries
  • Scheduling free in-home design consultations
  • Coordinating appointments and calendars for our design team
  • Supporting customers throughout every stage of their project
  • Working closely with designers, installers, and production staff to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Resolving customer questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and project information
  • Assisting with administrative and office support tasks
  • Helping create a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment
What Makes You a Great Fit

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes ownership of their work.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Friendly, positive, and professional
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office where priorities can change throughout the day
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • A dependable team player who enjoys collaborating with others
  • Resourceful and proactive when solving problems
  • Comfortable learning new software and systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications

Previous experience in customer service, reception, scheduling, office administration, or project coordination is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person with the right attitude.

What It's Like to Work Here

We're a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. We believe in treating our employees with respect, supporting one another, and creating an environment where everyone can succeed.

This isn't a job where you'll spend the day doing the same repetitive task. It's a dynamic role where your organization, communication skills, and ability to help others make a real impact every day.

If you like staying busy, solving problems, and being an important part of a successful team, you'll fit right in.

Why Join Closet Factory Portland?
  • Stable, full-time, year-round employment
  • Family-owned local business with a national brand behind us
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Opportunities to learn and grow professionally
  • Casual, respectful workplace culture
  • Make a meaningful impact on our customers' experience every day
