Job description

Senior Associate – Americas Client Marketing

The Marketing Senior Associate is a member of the Americas Client Marketing team which develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies supporting Nuveen’s institutional and wealth distribution goals. This role supports the execution of strategic conference and event programs in partnership with third‑party strategic partners, Marketing, and Distribution. This position emphasizes conference execution excellence, cross‑functional coordination, and tactical marketing support to maximize event connectivity and return‑on‑investment. By utilizing traditional as well as dynamic methods, such as social media promotion, attendee list management, and data‑driven reporting, this job ensures activities and events are on brand, strategically valuable to the organization, and deliver high‑quality engagement opportunities to the institutional and wealth sales organizations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties Strategic Conference Execution & Coordination
  • Serves as primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external distribution partners to ensure seamless event collaboration and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinates across sales distribution and investment teams to secure conference speakers, panelists, and sales attendees for third‑party strategic partnership events.
  • Manages pre‑event, during‑event, and post‑event execution to maximize attendee connectivity, engagement, and overall event ROI.
  • Coordinates conference lists (pre‑event and post‑event) for matching and sharing with distribution partners to optimize client engagement opportunities.
  • May interact directly with clients and partners in support of event objectives; limited travel may be required for on‑site event support.
Tactical Marketing & Content Development
  • Coordinates tactical marketing deliverables including promotional materials, branded content, and communication templates to support conference initiatives.
  • Creates social media deliverables and templates for conference promotion across digital channels to drive awareness and attendance.
  • Coordinates materials across Product Marketing partners to ensure product and content alignment to organizational goals.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
  • Manages conference lists for matching for pre‑event preparation and post‑event follow‑up activities.
  • Partners closely with marketing and distribution analytics teams for conference lead generation measurement and determination of return‑on‑investment.
  • Incorporates a data‑driven approach to measure event performance, attendee engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Reports conference specifics and outcomes to central reporting systems for enterprise transparency and strategic planning.
Broader Client Marketing Support
  • Provides tactical and custom marketing support aligned with Client Marketing support model in partnership with functional areas of marketing. Uses and assists with the creation of projects through Workfront.
  • Partners with Centers of Excellence for conference systems and processes to enhance conference results, such as Learning and Development training of distribution and alignment to cross‑division training and expectations.
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships and collaboration with marketing partners, sales organization, and business partners.
  • Supports additional event‑specific needs and marketing initiatives as they arise to support the broader Americas client marketing agenda.
  • Helps identify ideas and opportunities for future state needs related to acquiring, developing, and retaining clients through events and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitors market conditions and consumer behavior to improve the client experience and maximize marketing campaign effectiveness.

Base Pay Range
