This is a senior client leadership role where you'll oversee a portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, growing accounts, strengthen relationships, and shape solutions that make an impact.
The core responsibility is expanding accounts both organically and by identifying new opportunities.
You will be comfortable managing diverse client portfolios of several million dollars.
You'll join a collaborative team working with some of the world's leading healthcare organisations. You'll have the opportunity to shape long-term client partnerships.
You will report into the Head of Client Engagement, North America
What you'll do
  • Manage a portfolio of healthcare and pharmaceutical client accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior partners, including C-suite leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and introduce new services.
  • Work with business development colleagues to win new work and grow new client relationships.
  • Develop account plans that support long-term client growth.
  • Lead strategic client conversations, business reviews and planning meetings.
  • Turn client briefs into clear relevant plans for delivery teams.
  • Partner with creative, strategy, production and specialist teams to develop the right solutions.
  • Lead and support pitches for new opportunities.
  • Mentor Account Directors and wider account teams, helping them develop and succeed.
  • Be the senior escalation point for client issues, finding practical solutions when challenges arise.
  • Manage account forecasting, revenue and profitability, ensuring projects are commercially successful.
  • Ensure projects are resourced and delivered to a high standard by working with operations.
What do you need to have...
  • 8+ years of experience in client services or account leadership within a healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences agency.
  • Experience growing strategic client relationships.
  • Experience leading complex, high-value accounts and overseeing multiple client programmes.
  • Confidence working with senior client partners, including executive leadership teams.
  • Experience developing account growth plans and identifying new commercial opportunities.
  • Commercial awareness, including forecasting and portfolio management.
  • Comfortable leading diverse teams and influencing partners across an organisation.
  • A collaborative leadership style with experience developing others.
