Gallagher Bassett Specialty provides risk and claims management services to Construction, Cyber, Executive and Professional, and Healthcare industries. 
 
We are seeking a motivated business development professional to drive new business growth and expand relationships with existing clients within the insurance and risk management industry. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities, developing client relationships, and leveraging industry expertise to deliver tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance brokerage landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

How you'll make an impact
  • Drive new business growth by generating revenue from prospects and clients, setting and achieving annual goals, and strategically building your own book of business as a long-term goal.
  • Conduct prospect outreach initiatives including cold calling and emailing, participation in networking events, social media outreach, webinar and thought leadership promotion to cultivate a robust sales pipeline.
  • Manage the sales pipeline by generating leads, researching, conducting outreach, and tracking opportunities in a CRM system, such as Salesforce.
  • Prepare tailored materials for client meetings and strategize solutions in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Support account management activities, gather client data for renewals, and conduct policy reviews to build industry knowledge.
  • Develop a strong understanding of insurance knowledge, Gallagher solutions, and sales methodology to enhance credibility with decision-makers.
  • Leverage new sales and data analytics tools to support business opportunities, attend external events for market insights, and complete training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for cross-selling and attend industry events to expand your professional network.
