Loan Administration Officer

Location: Tampa, FL

SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting Credit Administration, the Market President, and the Relationship Manager with the processing and closing of loans. Assists market president and relationship managers with obtaining items such as ordering appraisals, coordinating with attorneys in document preparation, setting up new loans, and administrative functions. Answers client inquiries. May establish relevant files in accordance with necessary documentation, including application, credit information, collateral information, etc.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides administrative and processing support as needed to multiple lending

functions in accordance with established systems and procedures.

  • Responsible for loan processing, documentation, and pre-closing/closing tasks.
  • Accountable for ensuring quality client service is provided to internal/external clients.
  • Prepares correspondence, reports, etc. for the market president and the relationship managers. Performs copying, faxing, scanning, and data entry as requested.
  • Maintains appropriate files and records.
  • Coordination with loan operations, the funding, and booking of approved loans.
  • File building and maintenance activities for closed loans.
  • Exception monitoring and clearing of exceptions for loans generated by assigned relationship managers.
  • Coordinating loan documentation with loan operations.
  • Assists with internal and external loan reviews, audits, and examinations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Computer & typing skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products.
  • 7+ years of loan administration experience.
  • Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures, and banking regulations, state and federal.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Polite, courteous, and respectful to all clients and other associates.
  • Use established procedures and guidelines under moderate supervision.
  • Quick and efficient, with attention to detail and accuracy.
