Client Accounting Bookkeeper (Remote)

Who:
An established and growing organization seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeping professional to support a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients.

What:
Perform full-cycle monthly bookkeeping including reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance for clients with revenues between $1M–$20M.

When:
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with immediate hiring needs.

100% remote role supporting clients across various U.S. locations.

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping needs of multiple clients, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while acting as a trusted accounting resource.

● Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain and update general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
  • Communicate with clients to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure adherence to accounting best practices and internal processes

Qualifications:**
● 3+ years of bookkeeping or client accounting experience
● Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses preferred
● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar platforms)
● Strong understanding of GAAP principles
● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
● Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently
● Strong communication skills in a remote environment
