Security Account Manager
Location(s): Andover, MA & Westford, MA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000 annually based on experience and qualifications
The Security Account Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and operational success of security services across two corporate client locations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for both clients and security personnel, ensuring exceptional service delivery, regulatory compliance, and a safe, secure environment. The Account Manager is responsible for personnel management, client relationship management, operational oversight, and security technology administration while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Essential Responsibilities:
Personnel Management
  • Interview and train new hire security personnel.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Develop employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage across both corporate sites.
  • Manage timekeeping, payroll review, attendance, overtime, and employee leave requests.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and ongoing training to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
  • Foster employee engagement, retention, and professional development.

Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations for two corporate locations.
  • Ensure all security officers adhere to post orders, standard operating procedures, and client expectations.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and quality assurance audits.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate emergency response activities and maintain business continuity procedures.

Client Relations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the security organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership.
  • Address client concerns promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare operational reports and participate in regular client meetings.

Security Systems
  • Monitor and administer electronic security systems.
  • Conduct CCTV camera reviews in support of investigations and incident resolution.
  • Utilize ExacqVision Video Management System (experience preferred) for video retrieval, playback, and evidence preservation.
  • Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of security equipment with vendors and client IT departments.

Investigations & Incident Management
  • Conduct internal investigations related to security incidents, policy violations, and workplace concerns.
  • Review surveillance footage and collect relevant evidence.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and investigative documentation.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Track incident trends and recommend preventive measures.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Review and approve payroll submissions.
  • Maintain staffing reports, scheduling records, training documentation, and compliance files.
  • Prepare operational metrics and monthly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of security management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing multiple sites and supervising security personnel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Lenel Access Control preferred.
  • Experience with ExacqVision CCTV preferred.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and prepare professional reports.
  • Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operations, and physical security best practices.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
