Job description

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Department Head, the Receptionist/Clerk II performs various reception and clerical duties.

Core Job Responsibilities
  • Greets and Checks in Outpatients.
  • Activates accounts as needed and enters orders
  • Obtain co-pays
  • Registers patient as needed
  • Obtains outside imaging exams for comparison
  • Answers phones, faxes reports and distributes incoming faxes
  • Maintaining patient film files and pertinent imaging records upholding patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Distributes department mail.
  • Assists patients, technologists, Radiologists and medical staff as needed
  • Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years office experience


PREFERRED:

  • Bi or Multi-lingual
