Description CLERK 1 - Contract Clerical Assistant HOURS: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 35 hours per week. SALARY RANGE: $50,000 to $75,000 (DOQ) The Monmouth County Counsel's Office is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Clerical Assistant to support our team

The ideal candidate would possess a strong skillset for processing, reviewing, and organizing various contracts and vendor agreements. Key responsibilities include assisting in drafting, formatting, and proofreading standard contracts and legal agreements, tracking contract execution stages (signatures, revisions, and approvals), digitizing, filing, and indexing active and archived contracts, communicating professionally with vendors regarding contract terms or document requests, and handling routine office duties including data entry, copying, scanning. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Legal secretarial experience, law office clerking experience, and/or an Associate Degree/Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

Maintains records and files. Will be required to learn to utilize electronic and imaging systems used by the office REQUIRED SKILLS: Understanding of computer systems and Windows software as well as the ability to learn and navigate new databases. Detail-oriented and ability to capture all points and concepts in a document Manage time effectively and multi-task Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met.
