General Notes
The Strauss-Clements Intelligence Studies Project (ISP) at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a student associate (undergraduate or graduate) to support ISP programming. The position is for the Fall 2026 term with the potential to extend for the Spring 2027 term. This is a part-time position with varying hours each week up to 10 hrs/week. The position will be located at Sid Richardson Hall, Unit 3.
Purpose
The ISP Student Associate assists and supports Intelligence Studies Project programming at the University of Texas.
Responsibilities
  • Support and coordinate events, with occasional events in the evening hours.
  • Assist with advertising events and programs to the UT community.
  • Support ISP team with administrative tasks.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate student enrollment at the University of Texas. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Organized and detail oriented. Demonstration of professionalism. Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Canva. Eligibility to work in the United States.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in intelligence and/or national security.
Salary Range
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Working Conditions
  • Standard office environment. May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. Keyboarding and manual dexterity required.
