Activities Assistant (Part-Time) – Outings amp; Daily Engagement

Location: Newhaven Court at Clearview — Butler, PA

Position Type: Part-Time (20–29 hours per week)

Shift: Day Shift (Flexible scheduling between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Schedule: Includes rotating weekend coverage

Pay Rate: $13.00 / hour

Position Overview

Newhaven Court at Clearview, an Integracare community, is seeking an energetic, engaging, and creative Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will help plan, lead, and facilitate fun, meaningful activities for our residents—both inside the community and out on local excursions.

If you love bringing joy to seniors, leading games and social events, and taking trips around the local community, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Resident Outings: Safely operate our small community passenger bus for scheduled resident trips, shopping excursions, and local outings.
  • Facilitate Daily Activities: Lead group and one-on-one programs, including arts amp; crafts, trivia, games, physical movement, and social celebrations.
  • Promote Engagement: Encourage resident participation and foster a warm, welcoming, and lively atmosphere.
  • Program Support: Assist with setting up event spaces, gathering activity supplies, and distributing monthly calendars and daily event notices.
Qualifications amp; Requirements
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a small community bus/mini-van for resident outings (No CDL required!).
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Personal Attributes: High energy, patience, strong communication skills, and a passionate, creative attitude.
  • Experience: Experience working with seniors or leading recreational activities is preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!
  • Pre-Employment: Must pass standard pre-employment background checks and health screenings.
