GROUNDS KEEPER
Job Summary:
The purpose of the Hospitality Groundskeeper position is to maintain the landscaping of their assigned areas and provide outstanding customer service to both our guests and owners. The position requires that the person be able to meet the physical demands of the job performs manually or operate machinery to perform property maintenance activities as directed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Show respect and consideration for guest and ownerships.
  • Use equipment safely and prudently.
  • Work amiably and cooperatively with other employees.
  • Know condition of and performance of equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
  • Perform other activities as directed Asst. Superintendent or Superintendent.
  • Must be able to work alone and stay on task.
  • Must be able to follow directions verbal and written and work safely and competently.
  • Make guests and owners feel welcome and appreciated give excellent customer service.
  • General maintenance and cleanup of equipment.
  • Must be able to get along with others and work well in a team environment.
  • Contributes in meetings and group gatherings.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback and offer ideas for change and improvement.
  • Litter patrol: maintaining dumpster stations doggie stations and recycle stations.
  • Operate mechanical and motorized equipment.
  • Be able to turn automatic irrigation controllers off and on.
  • Work in adverse weather; cold/heat; rain/snow.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Current Driver License
  • Prior Landscaping experience/Golf Maintenance experience
  • Must be able to work alone and stay on task.
  • Must be able to follow directions verbal and written and work safely and competently.
  • Make guests and owners feel welcome and appreciated give excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable and familiar with general maintenance and cleanup of equipment.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback and offer ideas for change and improvement.
