Job description

Full-Time | $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.

Virginia Landscape Group is a growing landscape construction company with a positive, team-oriented culture. We are looking for a dependable landscape professional who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow with our company.
This position is a good fit for someone with strong landscape installation experience, especially with planting, bed preparation, grading, and jobsite leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Install trees, shrubs, perennials, and other plant material.
  • Prepare landscape beds, including grading, soil preparation, edging, and cleanup.
  • Assist with mulch, stone, drainage, and general landscape construction tasks.
  • Help lead crew members and keep daily work organized.
  • Read job notes, follow layouts, and complete work according to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Landscape installation experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of planting, bed preparation, and general landscape work.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • No DUI or reckless driving within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Team-player attitude.
