Job description

Crete United
Location: Davenport, IA
Type: Full-time permanent employment
Compensation: up to $25 per hour (DOE) + Comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
  • Install underground water, sewer, and storm piping.
  • Assist with excavation, grading, backfilling, and site cleanup.
  • Safely load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
  • Assist pipe crews with measuring, fitting, and laying underground utilities.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, and other construction equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections when assigned.
  • Work closely with foremen and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous construction or underground utility experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
