Cleaning Technician

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Custodial and Light Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. If you're a problem-solver with an eye for detail and a strong work ethics this is your chance to be the behind-the-scenes hero who makes everything work.
We are looking for a full-time, full year custodial position in the Rochester MN area!!
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday between the hours of 4pm-12pm or 5pm-1am. Hours can be flexible. Compensation is based upon education level, starting at $21/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal holidays.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position ensures the cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of our facilities. The Custodial and Light Maintenance Technician plays a key role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for staff, clients, and visitors by performing routine cleaning tasks and light maintenance duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, commercial kitchen, restrooms, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces. This includes mopping and vacuuming.
2. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
3. Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
4. Conduct light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and furniture assembly.
5. Monitor building for cleanliness and safety issues and report concerns.
6. Assist with room setups for meetings and events.
7. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies inventory.
8. Respond to maintenance requests as necessary in a timely manner.
9. Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping assistance.
10. Follow OSHA and safety guidelines in all tasks
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license preferred. Basic maintenance certifications a plus.
