Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the overall shop property maintenance (interior/exterior)

· Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing

· Direct and oversee shipping/receiving duties

· Scheduling and coordinating deliveries of material/equipment with upper management

· Management and execution of preventative maintenance on equipment

· Responsible for company tooling program; tracking, repairs, replacement, etc.

· Training, supervising, and evaluating a team of employees

· Planning, directing, and coordinating activities to achieve organizational goals

· Ensuring all staff adhere to safety standards, company policies, and procedures

· Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management

Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of shipping/receiving practices

· Good computer and organizational skills

· Must be able to write and verbally communicate effectively

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Decision making ability and leadership skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Possess a growth mindset, strong work ethic, pleasant attitude

Education: High School Diploma or GED with preferred vocational or other technical school, certification, training, or apprenticeship beyond high school.

Experience: 3-5 years warehouse/shop management experience preferred.

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Employee must have a valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle or their own vehicle for work purposes.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work for extended periods of time standing and walking

· Required to frequently lift/carry 25-50lbs

· Must be able to lift 75lbs

· Must be able to bend, climb ladders, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, twist constantly to accomplish tasks

· Use equipment, material and supplies required to perform assigned duties in a safe & professional manner

· Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse.

· May require travel for deliveries to jobsite

· Ability to work on step ladders and extension ladders

· Forklift certification is preferred
