Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Assistant Mechanic to support our operations team with basic equipment handling, general labor duties, and daily project support. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn, reliable, and able to work in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with basic tasks such as organizing tools, preparing equipment, and supporting daily operations.
  • Perform general labor duties including loading/unloading materials, cleaning work areas, and staging equipment.
  • Help with equipment preparation such as fuel checks, hose setup, and routine cleaning.
  • Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and other field support tasks as directed.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and wear required PPE.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and orderly condition.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a background check to enter certain government facilities if required for the job.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment (50+ lbs).
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
