Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for detailing company vehicles, assuring that vehicles are clean and ready for departure. This position is responsible for maintaining wash bay area clean and organized. Duties involve working with a number of mechanics and shop foremen to provide the help needed. The Vehicle Service Attendant reports directly to the Quality Control Specialist. Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You'll be responsible for vehicle preparation to ensure vehicle is ready for departure
  • Clean interior and wash exterior of vehicles.
  • Using necessary equipment for cleaning and servicing of vehicles.
  • Reporting any cosmetic damages to the supervising manager
  • Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment
  • Ensure features of the vehicles are operational
  • Assists in maintaining the Maintenance Shop and wash bay clean, organized, and in compliance
  • Properly dump waste water from Motor Coach
  • Sanitize Motorcoach interior and restroom
  • Dust dashboard and vacuum seats
  • Sweep and mop interior of vehicle
  • Remove debris such as gum on floors
  • Remove graffiti
  • Stock necessary restroom supplies (bathroom tissue, sanitizer foam, trash bags) in vehicles
  • Ensure interior of vehicle is clean. (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, luggage compartment, etc.)
  • Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied
  • Maintain good housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

EXPERIENCE:
2 years of job-related experience Preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.

EDUCATION:
Minimum Formal Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Required.
