Job description

Position Summary

Ace Cleaning Svc., Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Cleaning Team Lead to oversee evening cleaning operations and ensure assigned facilities are cleaned according to company standards and client expectations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist the cleaning team during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure all assigned cleaning duties are completed properly and on schedule.
  • Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies.
  • Ensure employees follow cleaning checklists and client-specific requirements.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and proper clock-in/clock-out procedures.
  • Ensure employees clock in and out only at their assigned work location.
  • Report attendance, performance, supply, equipment, or client concerns to management.
  • Communicate with management regarding any issues that may affect service.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Train and assist employees with proper cleaning procedures and chemical use.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of assigned areas to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Assist with cleaning duties when necessary.
  • Maintain professional conduct and appearance while on client property.
  • Protect client property and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ensure the facility is secured according to client requirements when the cleaning shift is completed.

Employee Expectations

The Team Lead must:

  • Arrive on time and be ready to work at 5:00 PM.
  • Remain at the assigned work location throughout the scheduled shift unless authorized by management.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and accountability.
  • Address cleaning deficiencies immediately.
  • Report problems rather than allowing them to continue.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients and coworkers.
  • Follow all Ace Cleaning Svc., Inc. policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
  • Perform repetitive cleaning activities.
  • Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Work around cleaning chemicals while following required safety procedures.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour, paid in accordance with Ace Cleaning Svc., Inc.'s regular payroll schedule.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–9:30 PM
Maximum scheduled hours: 22.5 hours per week, unless additional hours are authorized by management.
