In your role, you will undertake the following essential duties:

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a compassionate and ethical approach.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that establish achievable therapy goals and track client progress in meaningful ways.
• Facilitate client insight into their feelings, experiences, and relationships, fostering a deeper understanding of their mental health challenges.
• Regularly assess client progress, adjust treatment strategies as necessary, and help clients develop effective coping mechanisms to enhance their emotional resilience.

Our client population primarily consists of adults experiencing low to moderate mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. These individuals are often seeking guidance and support in managing their day-to-day emotional challenges and are typically stable enough to engage in independent therapy. This role is vital in fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship that promotes healing and personal growth.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure in the state of New York as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• Proven ability to practice independently without supervision and maintain a clean disciplinary record.
• Strong interpersonal skills complemented by an empathetic approach to counseling.

While prior experience in a remote counseling role is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates who are familiar with contemporary psychotherapeutic techniques and demonstrate proficiency with digital communication tools will excel in this environment. Knowledge of telehealth best practices and remote therapy facilitation can enhance client engagement and satisfaction.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year based on hours worked and experience. Benefits include:
