Evolve Recycling is looking for full-time permanent machine operators to work in our tire recycling facility in Brantford, ON. Evolve Recycling is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces and other innovative products.


Continental Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:15am


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning duties, such as blowing down designated areas,sweeping and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal, shoveling, etc.
  • Cleaning on a scissor lift and sky jack (training provided)
  • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and cleaning up after production processes
  • Working with air pressure equipment
  • Notifying management of any issues or repairs needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Other cleaning duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train)
  • Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train)
  • Forklift License ideal (willing to train)
  • Excellent attendance & punctuality
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Fast learner who is able to follow instructions
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours
  • Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
  • Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset
