Position at A Child's Place Early Learning Center
A Child's Place is a group of licensed childcare centers seeking Substitute/Floater Teachers to work with all age groups, Infants-PreK! Our substitutes will pick up shifts based on need/availability at our Antioch and Lindenhurst locations.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED and be able to pass all background checks! Childcare experience highly preferred!
Required Shift: Flexible hours based on availability/center needs
Compensation: $18-$19/hr. Pay is based on education and experience.

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of students and staff at all times.
  • Develops positive relationships with children and families.
  • Participates in professional development activities designated by the Director, which may include workshops, curriculum meetings, planning, committee service.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, well-organized environment. Ensures that the classroom and associated areas (including playground) meet all licensing, safety, and health requirements.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
