Job Description
As a Program Controls East team member, you will support program control functions for large projects of high strategic value and complexity across all of AECOM business lines in the East region.
You will provide authoritative oversight for program controls activities, ensuring strict alignment with the strategic objectives established by senior leadership. Your role will involve spearheading coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program, guaranteeing seamless integration and adherence to overarching program objectives. You will develop and execute advanced resource allocation strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity across the entire program.
We are adding the following roles to the group:
  • Scheduling Manager
  • Cost Manager
  • Document Control Manager
  • Program Control Manager

Key responsibilities include:
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive scheduling frameworks, monitoring project timelines, identifying critical path dependencies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery
  • Oversee cost management activities, including budget development, expenditure tracking, variance analysis, and financial forecasting to maintain fiscal accountability
  • Manage document control systems and processes, ensuring version control, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Develop and deliver executive-level program reports and dashboards that communicate performance metrics, risks, and key performance indicators to stakeholders
  • Coordinate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies across all program elements to minimize project exposure
  • Facilitate change management processes, evaluating scope modifications and their impact on schedule, cost, and resource allocation
  • Conduct data analysis and performance trending to support informed decision-making and continuous program improvement
  • Ensure compliance with AECOM standards, industry best practices, and contractual obligations across all program controls functions

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Project Management, Engineering, or Business plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business
  • Strong experience with Project Management Information System (PMIS)
  • Experience with large transportation, water, and aviation infrastructure
  • Experience in integration of controls - scope, cost, schedule, risk reporting
  • Experience in PowerBI report tailoring for program specific needs
