Downey Federal Credit Union (DFCU)

Role Purpose

DFCU Street Team Ambassadors professionally represent DFCU at events all throughout our field of membership. Street Team Ambassadors bring energy and knowledge to events, they field questions from event attendees and look to develop business for DFCU. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend events to represent DFCU.
  • Must adhere to all credit union dress code and code of conduct requirements. Attire may sometimes vary outside of standard dress code (i.e. golf tournaments, formal luncheons/dinners, etc.) 
  • Coordinate event/work scheduling with Marketing Manager or other members of Marketing Department. 
  • Represent DFCU in a professional manner at community functions, DFCU events, booth settings - this includes engaging people through conversation for the purpose of answering questions and promoting DFCU. 
  • May be asked periodically to wear a full body mascot suit at select events. 
  • Must attend periodic product and service trainings. 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Requirements


  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and special events.  
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must have a source of transportation to/from events.  
  • May also be required to drive a DFCU van to/from event
  • Must have current auto insurance and clean driving record. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds when necessary. 
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Community and member focused.  
  • Must be able to be bonded.
