Shake Guys is Chicagoland's cedar & composite shake and slate roof restoration leader! Our professionalism and company standards have earned us a 5-Star reputation in the communities we serve. The restoration services we offer include cedar shake replacement, cedar shake repairs and preservation treatments with a large focus on synthetic/composite shake and slate roofing systems. Other service trades we provide are replacement of asphalt roofs, custom copper, gutters, windows, siding and other exterior trades.

We are looking for the right unique candidates who are motivated to engage in canvassing door-to door and earn an hourly wage plus bonuses paid per each set appointment. Customer care and professionalism is a must with the services we provide. The position is to schedule appointments and make homeowners aware of the services that Shake Guys offers which include full roof replacements, hail and storm damage inspections, cedar shake repairs and cedar preservation treatments. Simply set appointments. The scope of the job that you’ll be performing entails offering the homeowner a free evaluation of their roof’s condition and informing them of the many services and benefits the company provides, which include inspections, replacement, or maintaining their cedar roof. Company vehicle may be provided to a qualified candidate or monthly driving incentives with mileage reimbursement is consider if actively using your own vehicle.

Paid training will be provided to ensure you understand our services, how to professionally approach homeowners, and the most effective ways to schedule appointments. Our team will guide you through proven canvassing techniques, product knowledge, and neighborhood strategies to help you succeed in the role.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Canvass specific neighborhoods designated by company manager
  • Generate leads by setting up free roof inspections
  • Provide a brief overview of the company and its services, including roof inspections, roof repairs and preservation, as well as cedar, asphalt, and DaVinci and Brava synthetic roofing options.
  • Use company phone or ipad to accurately track leads and appointments
  • Leave company marketingflyer at door if no one is home
  • Communicate directly with sales manager or field technician
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record if using a company vehicle.
  • The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Similar door to door canvassing experience or exterior home trades, however not required
  • Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills
  • Goal oriented with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision
  • Positive team player with good organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to comfortably walk and canvass doortodoor
