The pay rate for Crew Members starts at $17.36 and up hourly, depending on your experience.

 

The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to about 5:00 PM, but days and hours vary based on projects and the seasonality of the business. We do not do winter lay-offs, but your schedule and total number of hours will change depending on weather and customer needs.

About the Job

  • Mowing Team Members: You’ll mow with commercial mowers, walk-behinds, and zero-turn mowers (we will train you on how to use the equipment, so no experience is necessary!).

 

What your day will look like

  • During the regular season, our hours are typically 7 am to 5 pm

  • You may be driving a company truck during work time, so you must have a valid driver’s license

  • You will be working outside in varying weather conditions

  • You will perform essential groundskeeping services, including planting, raking, mulching, and pruning

  • You will be operating power tools, such as trimmers, weed whips, edgers, and blowers

  • You’ll fill out your time tracking accurately for each location you’re working

  • Each morning, you’ll load the equipment and materials that you’ll need to complete your projects for the day

  • Each evening, you’ll perform basic cleaning & maintenance on your tools and stock up on supplies for the following morning. 

  • In the winter, you will shovel, plow, and remove snow

 


Experience

We’re flexible on the number of years of experience for this role! We favor talent and interest. Even if you did not finish high school, please apply anyway: there’s a good chance you’re more wonderful than you think. 

 

The only must-have requirements to be a Crew Member are:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.

  • You have a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able and willing to lift 50 lbs regularly.

  • A positive attitude and a desire to work outside.

 

Nice-to-haves: If you have experience with the skills below, that’s a plus!

  • Experience working outdoors

  • Experience pruning, installing plants, and/or installing outdoor living features

  • Experience pulling a trailer

  • Experience with basic lawn equipment and/or maintenance & repair of equipment

  • Experience with snow removal
