Job Overview
We are seeking an Engineer Systems Test 2 to support Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) activities for a production Space RADAR Payload program in Baltimore, Maryland.
This position supports on-site test bench operations focused on verification and validation of software, hardware, and system requirements for advanced space applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with integration testing, assembly testing, MATLAB-based analysis, RF systems, and aerospace/space payload environments.
This role requires working dedicated 3rd shift operations for the first year.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute test scripts supporting software, hardware, and system verification
  • Support Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) operations for Space RADAR Payload systems
  • Perform assembly testing and integration testing activities
  • Analyze and trend test data using MATLAB
  • Support troubleshooting and validation of RF and RADAR systems
  • Utilize RF test equipment including:
  • Signal Generators
  • Spectrum Analyzers
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Power Meters
  • Support subsystem and system-level integration activities
  • Work within space and clean room integration environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and test teams
  • Execute and improve existing Python and Tcl scripts when required
  • Maintain technical documentation and support issue tracking processes

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • 2-5 years of sensor systems, aerospace systems, or space integration & test experience
  • Experience with:
  • Assembly Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • MATLAB
  • Understanding of RF systems and RADAR concepts
  • Ability to execute and analyze test procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work dedicated 3rd shift (9 PM - 5 AM)
  • Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RADAR systems and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) Antennas
