POSITION – Molding Operator

JOB LOCATION – Menomonie, Wisconsin (Dunn County)

STARTING DATE – Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm), 3rd Shift (10:30pm-7:00am, Sunday-Thursday)

STARTING PAY – $17.00-$20.00 per hour DOE, plus $0.75/hour shift differential on 2nd and $1.50/hour shift differential on 3rd

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1-2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, production, or assembly experience preferred. 2-3 years of solid, recent work history strongly desired.

In this role, you will be part of a team focused on producing medical-grade components while maintaining strict quality and cleanliness standards. This employer is looking for individuals who are eager to learn, take initiative, and are committed to long-term employment. Training and orientation are completed onsite, with opportunities to learn multiple areas of the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate injection molding and production equipment according to established work instructions
• Inspect parts for quality and visual defects
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Monitor equipment performance and report concerns
• Assist with machine setups and changeovers as needed
• Maintain production flow by handling materials and finished products
• Follow all safety, quality, and clean room procedures
• Rotate into and out of clean room environments as required
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
• Cross-train in multiple production areas

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Capable of standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to identify small defects and color variations

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting with required protective gear

• Must follow cleanliness guidelines (clean clothing, secured hair, appropriate footwear)

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly

• Understanding of workplace safety practices; prior ISO or similar experience is a plus

• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented mindset

Additional Information:

• Onsite orientation and training will take place at the start of employment
• Clean room environment may require gowning, masks, hair nets, beard nets, and boot covers
• No cell phones or earbuds permitted in production areas
• Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch
• No smoking permitted on company property
• All required PPE is provided by the employer
